Smith, Pvt. Jerome S.
Army National Guard Pvt. Jerome W. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence A. Smith,
Dorchester, has completed basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
During the training, students received instruction in drill and ceremonies,
weapons, map reading, tactic, Military Courtesy, Military justice, first aid and
Army history and traditions. He is a 1983 graduate of Colby High School.
