Roxanne Kay Amacher and Douglas E. Lueth were united in marriage Saturday, November 27, 1976 at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford.

The Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony for the children of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Amacher, Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lueth, Route 1, Dorchester.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a gown of white quiana knit and Venice lace fashioned with an empire waist with a full chapel length train. Her Camelot headpiece held a French illusion veil. She carried a colonial bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and baby’s breath.

Kristi Anderson, Abbotsford, was maid of honor. Mrs. Mark Pierce Stetsonville and Mrs. Walter Nixdorf were bridesmaids. Junior bridesmaids were Shawn Amacher and Pamela Wittlinger, both of Abbotsford.

They wore mint green style quiana knit gown with forest green trim and matching forest green velvet hats. Each carried a colonial bouquet of mint green and white pom poms, white roses and baby’s breath.

Don Nelson, Abbotsford, was best man for the bridegroom. Mark Pierce, Stetsonville and Scott Amacher, Abbotsford, were groomsmen.

Lori Lueth, Dorchester, was flower girl, and ring bearer was Bret Egelseer, Abbotsford.

Completing the wedding party were ushers Paul Nikolay and Greg Lueth.

A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Village Plaza in Spencer.

The couple are both graduates of Abbotsford High School. The bride is employed by Dr. C. Morgan Ellis, and the bridegroom is employed by Kraft in Milan.

They will live in Abbotsford after a trip to Florida.
