Dr. J. W. Koch and Dr. E. Dolf Pfefferkorn and their families will be honored during doctors’ appreciation banquet being planned in their honor by the Colby Chamber of Commerce.

Paul Firnstahl, president of the chamber, said the date of the event will be announced shortly by Bernard Wavrunek, who heads the committee in charge of the doctors’ appreciation banquet.

Firnstahl said “The residents of Colby and the surrounding areas are fortunate to have the kind of medical facilities available to them as provided by the Colby Clinic. The chamber feels this event is long overdue for the dedication given by the two doctors during the years.
