Miss Karen Marie Hlavac, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James J Hlavac, 201 N. Willow
Ave., was given in marriage by her father October 15 to David C. Tyler, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Tyler of Route 1, Granton. Nuptials were at St. John's
Catholic Church with the Re. Steven J. Brice, pastor, officiating along with the
Rev. Kevin L. Wenker of Zion Lutheran Church, Granton.
Mark Lavey sang and Mike Betz played.
Maid of honor was Miss Kathy Hlavac of Madison and bridesmaids were Judy Tyler
of Granton and Janet Hlavac, Marry Birr and Nancy Scidmore, all of Marshfield.
Wayne Greeler of Neillsville was best man. Groomsmen were Jim Schultz of Omro,
Jim Hlavac and Roger Schalow, both of Marshfield, and Darwin Schlinsog, Granton.
Ushering were Mark Meyer and Brad Zipfel of Neillsville. Jason Hlavac was ring
bearer.
The bride graduated in 1979 from Marshfield Senior High School and is a
secretary for the Rehabilitation Services Department of St. Joseph's Hospital.
Her husband, who farms and is a buyer for Nieman Feeder Pigs of Arpin, is a 1976
graduate of Granton High School.
