Gregorio, Dr. Frederico

NEILLSVILLE - Dr. Frederico P. Gregorio, a surgeon from the Neillsville Clinic and Memorial Hospital, has been awarded Fellowship to the American College of Surgeons.

He was among nearly 1,700 surgeons from throughout the United States and 41 other countries who were granted Fellowship at the 70th Clinical Congress October 20 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Membership in the college is based upon a surgeon's demonstrated and continued technical and educational competence as well as adherence to the principles of surgical ethics.

Gregorio received his M.D. degree from the University of the Philippines. He was an intern and a resident in surgery at the Mercy Catholic Hospital Center, Philadelphia before coming to Neillsville in 1979.

He and his wife, Fe, have two children.
