Palchik, Carol (17 Dec 1943 – 7 Jan 1977)

Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Steven (Carol) Palchik, age 33, Eau Claire, formerly of Marshfield and Abbotsford.

The Rev. Fred Sauder officiated at the 1 p.m. rite held at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Burial followed in the Hatfield Cemetery in Jackson County.

Mrs. Palchik died Friday, January 7, 1977 at the Black River Memorial Hospital in Black River Falls.

The former Carol Busse was born December 17, 1943 in Marshfield, and graduated from Abbotsford High School. She graduated in 1966 from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.

She married Steven Palchik in 1965. They moved to Eau Claire nine years ago from Marshfield.

She assisted with music, Sunday school and church school and Epiphany, and was a member of its Parent-Teacher League.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Anthony and daughter, Lori; her mother, Mrs. Otto (Lorentina) Busse, Abbotsford, and two brothers, Marvin, Abbotsford, and Ronald, Dorchester.
