Beil, Arwin P. (11 June 1909 – 28 October 1982)

A longtime Town of Fremont farmer, Arwin P. Beil, 73, passed away at his rural home on Thursday, October 28.

The deceased was born on June 11, 1909, in the Town of Lynn to Adolph and Laura (Schlinsog) Beil. As a small boy, he moved where he remained the rest of his life, working on the family farm. He retired in 1978 but remained on the farm. He never married.

Surviving him are three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Hilda) Montag of Chili, Mrs. Gerald (Esther) Dankemeyer of Neillsville and Mrs. Lyle (Hazel) Doehr of Spencer.

Funeral services were held on Monday morning, November 1, from Christ Lutheran Church in Chili with burial in the Yolo Cemetery near Chili. Music at the service was offered by the congregation and Mrs.. Norman Faber. The Rev. Kevin Wenker officiated; and the Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Tony Schmitt, Fred Lewin, Sr., Norman Meissner, Harley Loos, Norman Faber and Carsten Lovestad.

Attending the funeral were friends and relatives from Manitowoc, Chilton, Brillion, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Shorewood, Medford, Abbotsford, Longwood, Greenwood, Wis. Rapids, Fremont and from the local area.
