Schwierske, Ella (16 Sep 1895 – 22 Jan 1977)

Funeral services were held for Ella Schwierske, age 81, Mt. Horeb, formerly of Colby, on Tuesday, January 25, 1977, at Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby.

Pallbearers were Norman Kobs, Pat Barr, Ray Gries, Milford Frome, Junior Tesmer and Woodrow Tesmer.

Mrs. Schwierske died Saturday, January 22, 1977 at the Ingleside Nursing Home in Mt. Horeb.

The former Ella Kuentz was born in Colby on September 16, 1895 and attended Colby schools.

On October 27, 1915 she married Fred Schwierske.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Colby.

She is survived by one son, Fred, Mt. Horeb; four grandchildren, and a brother, Herb Kuentz, Clearwater, Florida.
