Last Saturday Abbotsford’s FBLA students under the supervision of Connie Braun, business education teacher, attended a FBLA regional conference in Eau Claire.

The conference offered members an opportunity to compete with students from nearly 35 other schools in business related contests such as job interviews, parliamentary procedures, public and extemporaneous speaking, office procedures, basic business, economics, typewriting, accounting, stenography, business communications, poster making and exhibits.

Those attending from Abbotsford were Penny Mantik, taking fourth in Clerk Typist I, Jeanne Writz, placing fifth in Accounting I, and Peggy Mantik, a second place winner in accounting II.
