Jeff Tellock, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Roger Tellock, Curtiss, was awarded the
Eagle Scout Award during a Blue and Gold banquet held Sunday afternoon at St.
Paul’s Lutheran Parish Hall, Curtiss.
Only one percent of all Boy Scouts achieve the eagle ranks said Gene McManus,
Stanley, Chippewa Valley Council Camping chairman, who spoke at the ceremony. He
said 25 special merit badges, in addition to going through all the ranks, are
needed to obtain the honor.
The ceremony was conducted by Peter Goessel, Troop 25 committee chairman. He was
assisted by Scoutmaster Peter Johnson, Pack 25 Cub master Rodney Hawks. Hawks
was also master of ceremony.
