Mr. and Mrs. Lester C. Smith, Waukesha, announce the engagement of their daughter, Eileen Lois Smith, Beaver Dam, to David Emanuel Zimmerman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel L. Zimmerman, Route 1, Unity.

Miss Smith is a 1972 graduate of Waukesha High School and a 1976 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. She is an English teacher at Beaver Dam Senior High School.

Her fiancé, a 1970 graduate of Colby High School, studied music for a year at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. He is an assistant cashier at Tri-County State Bank, Marshfield, and gives private piano and organ lessions in the Marshfield area.
