Schutz, Fred (6 January 1894 – 12 November 1982)
Fred Schutz, 88, of Rt. 1 Granton, passed away at his home on Friday, November
12.
The deceased was born on January 6, 1894, in Milwaukee to William and Augusta
Schutz. He married Violet Holnbach of Milwaukee. The couple moved to the Town of
Lynn in 1929. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church congregation.
Surviving him is a son, Merwyn, Granton; eleven grandchildren; and seven great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife on February 26, 1974; four
sisters; and one brother.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 16, from Grace Lutheran Church
in Nasonville with the Rev. Dale Freberg officiating. Burial was made in the
Windfall Cemetery, at Granton. The Gilbertson Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.
