Miss Pamela Mary Kay, daughter of Mrs. Anne Kay, 603 W. Fifth St., and Steven
Richard Halpin, Marshfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Halpin, Loyal, were
married October 15.
The Rev. Charles P. Schumacher officiated at the ceremony at Corpus Christi
Catholic Church, Bakerville. Ken Kay gave his sister in marriage during nuptials
for which music was furnished by Judy Weis, Bakerville.
Miss Linda Kay of Richfield was maid of honor while Helen Gotz, Gwen Salzwedel
and Roseann Machtan, all of Marshfield, and Terri Halpin, Wausau, were
bridesmaids.
Tara and Mary Halpin were flower girls and John Paruez and Dennis Weigel were
ring bearers.
Ben Sahr III of North Oaks, Minnesota, was best man. Groomsmen were Ron Gotz and
Dale Machtan of Marshfield and Mike and Pat Halpin of Loyal. Ushering were Danny
Halpin, Loyal, and Kurt Kay, Marshfield.
The reception, dinner and dance were at the Knights of Columbus Clubhouse. After
a northern Wisconsin and Michigan honeymoon, the Halpins will make Marshfield
their home.
The bride, who works at St. Joseph's Hospital, graduated from Marshfield Senior
High School and from the typing/accounting program at Mid-State Technical
Institute-Marshfield. Her husband, a Loyal High School graduate, will be
graduating this fall from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a B.S.
degree, He works for the Neillsville-Granton Farmers Union Co-op, Granton.
