Patti A. Merwin, Route 1, Abbotsford, is one of 10 students in the school of
nursing at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee to receive a $319 scholarship
under a program supported by the Wisconsin Rehabilitation Corporation.
The program is offered to students in all of the health profession throughout
the state of Wisconsin, and in addition to meeting other criteria, students must
be from Wisconsin farm families.
Miss Merwin is a junior in the School of Nursing at UWM.
