Ursula Wellman and David Witt were married Saturday, February 26, 1977 at Christ
Lutheran Church, Abbotsford.
Officiating at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony was the Rev. Kenneth Loehrke. Mrs. Norm
Kommer was the organist. Soloists were Mavis Burger and Kathy Marchel.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Wellman and Mrs. Marjorie Witt, all
of Abbotsford.
Linda Cooper, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Ruth Wellman, another
sister of the bride, and Shirley and Janice Witt, sisters of the bridegroom,
were bridesmaids.
Attending the bridegroom as best man was his brother, Don Witt. Larry Cooper,
Robert Pipes and Dan Bobbe were groomsmen.
Completing the wedding party were ushers, Jack Mildbrand, uncle of the
bridegroom, and Virgil Underwood, cousin of the bride.
A reception, dinner and dance followed at Dorchester Memorial Hall.
The couple, both graduates of Abbotsford High School, will live in Spencer,
where the bridegroom is employed.
