Kissling, Charmain (4 December 1982)
Charmain Kissling and David Fox were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon,
December4 4, at the Neillsville United Church of Christ by the Rev. Gary Clark.
The bride is the daughter of Irving and Lucille Montgomery, 315 Hewett St.,
Neillsville. The groom is the son of Clarence and Audrey Fox, Rt. 3 Neillsville.
Special music for the service was offered by Mary Miller of Mishicot.
Serving as the maid of honor was Karen Montgomery, a sister of the bride from
Eau Claire. Joining her was Betty Durst, a friend from Neillsville. Terry
Phillips, a friend from Black River Falls, was bestman, David Austin, a friend
from Marshfield, was a groomsman. Ushering were friend Dale Reinart and Cousin
Charles Fox, both of Neillsville. Serving as flowergirl was Cassandra Kissling,
the bride’s daughter.
The bride chose her mother’s wedding gown of net over satin with train and veil.
She carried a silk arrangement of white roses, red rose buds and satin ruffles.
Her attendants wore white, long-sleeved gowns with pleated skirts, each adorned
with burgundy posies, and carried silk arrangements of white carnations and pink
and burgundy flowers. The groom and his attendants were attired in burgundy
tuxedos.
Following the service, a reception, dinner and dance was held at the Neillsville
American Legion Hall. The wedding cake was made by the bride’s mother, as were
the bouquets.
The couple will make their home at 19 Court Street in Neillsville. She is a 1973
graduate of Neillsville High School and is employed at the Neillsville-Granton
Farmers Union Co-op gas station. He is in his third year at UW-Eau Claire and is
employed part-time as a cook for Palm’s Supper Club, Hatfield.
