Married October 15 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, with the Very Rev.
Raymond J. Pedretti officiating, were Miss Sharon Kay Tyznik and Kevin Richard
Mews, both of Route 2, Colby, children of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tyznik, Route 1,
Colby, and Mrs. Louise Mews, Minneapolis, and the late Richard Mews.
The bride was given in marriage by her father during nuptials for which Susan
Dix was organist and Gregory Reierson and Cindy Fricke were vocalists.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Tammy Wenzel, Marshfield. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Vicky
Hainzlsperger of Colby, Mrs. Jill Koerner of Dorchester, Mrs. Penny Searer of
Owen and Miss Marla Beil, Abbotsford.
Gary Searer of Own was best man. Groomsmen were Rich Hainzlsperger, Stuart Mews,
Mark Tyznik and Gilbert Calley, all of Colby, and ushering were Steve Tyznik,
Colby, and Lance Mews, Mansfield, Ohio.
The reception was at The Sword, Colby, where the dance took place and the dinner
was served at St. Mary's Gymnasium. After a trip to Florida, the couple will
live west of Colby.
Both graduated from Colby High School, the bride in 1980 and her husband in
1975. She is a bank teller/bookkeeper at Security State Bank, Colby, and her
husband is a bulk milk hauler for Harris Cheese Co., Unity.
