O'Kelly, James (16 August 1900 - 1 November 1983)

THORP - James O'Kelly, 83, Thorp, died Tuesday evening at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley.

Services will be Friday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thorp. The Rev. John Puerner will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation and rosary will be at the Thorp Funeral Home.

He was born August 16, 1900 in Ireland, to the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Anna Mullen) O'Kelly. He married Mary Hyland November 6, 1937 in Philadelphia. The couple lived in Philadelphia until 1976 when they moved to Thorp.

A retired hotel manager, Mr. O'Kelly is survived by his wife, Mary; and a niece, Mrs. James Connolly, both of Thorp.
