Schultz, Angeline M. (31 May 1914 – 19 December 1982)

Angeline M. Schultz, 68, a teacher for 33 years in the Neillsville area, passed away after succumbing to cancer on Sunday, December 19.

Mrs. Schultz made her home at 203 West Division St., Neillsville, prior to being a patient at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

The deceased was born on May 31, 1914, in Ely, Minnesota, to Ludwig and Paula (Stupica) Perushek. She received her early education in Neillsville schools, graduating in 1923. She then attended was then known as Eau Claire Teachers College, where she eventually earned a master's degree in degree in education. She then began her career of 33 years as a teacher in the Neillsville and area school systems. She also taught at St. Mary’s Parochial School in the city. She was divorced.

After her retirement, she continued to teach part-time and was also active in St. Mary’s religious education program, the latter a period encompassing 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s parish, Parish Council of Catholic Women, the DAWN Society and the Retired Teacher Association.

Funeral services were to be held today (Thursday, December 23) at 10:30 a.m. from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville with the Rev. Joseph Henseler officiating. Burial was to be made in the parish cemetery with John, Michael, Ludwig and Charles Perushek, Bill Verschay and John Brekke as pallbearers. (Visitation was scheduled for Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday morning until time of services.)
