Mr. and Mrs. Verland Schneider had their infant son, Donald Edward, baptized Saturday afternoon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby, with the Rev. Rushman officiating.

Sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Schneider, Mayville. A reception was held at the home after the services, where they also celebrated their daughter Kathie’s ninth birthday.

Guests included Mr. and Mrs. George Schneider, Colby, Mrs. Marcella Lord and family, Arpin, Mr. and Mrs. Viola Winke and family, Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Glenzer, Rib Lake.
