Word has been received that the grandson of Eleonora Willis, Sp.4 Larry
Williams, has been selected as supernumerary at the Guard Mount. The
supernumerary is the soldier who is the most knowledgeable of his military
duties and has the most outstanding personal appearance. The competition is
tough and soldiers selected spend a great deal of time preparing for inspection.
Supernumeraries receive a letter of congratulations and are given a day off in
recognition of their outstanding performance.
