Hoeft, Dolores (6 April 1928 – 19 February 2023)
Dolores Hoeft, age 94, of Marshfield, formerly of Neillsville, died Sunday,
February 19, 2023, at Three Oaks Health Services in Marshfield.
Dolores Barth was born on April 6, 1928, in West Allis, the daughter of Clarence
and Anna (Hrahicka) Barth. She graduated from Ethan Allen High School in
Milwaukee, in 1946. She was united in marriage to Wilhelm Fleischmann on October
16, 1946. After they were married, they moved to Eagle, for eight years before
moving to Neillsville and farming in the town of Weston. They sold the farm
after a few years and then built a new house kitty-corner to their farm. Along
with farming, Dolores also worked at Russell’s of Neillsville for many years,
the pickle factory in Neillsville and as a nurse’s aide for Clark County Social
Services. Wilhelm died on September 19, 1990. On January 21, 1995, she married
Ray Hoeft. Ray died on June 25, 2001. Dolores was a member of Zion Evangelical
Lutheran Church in Granton. She enjoyed crafting, knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by three children, Donnie, Darlene (Rick) and Dennis (Emilie), 7
grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and 2 special
friends, Mary Ann Gault and Charlotte Hediger. She was preceded in death by her
husbands, Bill and Ray, a grandson, Curt and a great grandson, Devon.
A memorial service for Dolores will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4,
2023, at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Granton. Pastor Daniel
Schoessow will officiate. Music will be provided by Caroline Helm, organist.
Interment will be in the Marie Louise Chapel Cemetery in Christie, at a later
date. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4th at the
Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
