Diedrich, Lina (27 March 1909 - 05 November 1983)

COLBY - Mrs. Fred (Lina) Diedrich, 74, Colby, died Sunday at the Colonial House of Colby.

Services will be Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. The Rev. Douglas Greenwald will officiate. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Rux Funeral Home.

The former Lina Fischer was born March 27, 1909 in Newton, Kansas to the late Mr. and Mrs. Adolph (Elizabeth Urban) Fischer. She received her education in Colby schools and married Fred Diedrich May 20, 1927 in Neillsville.

A member of Zion Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2227's auxiliary for 36 years, Mrs. Diedrich is survived by her husband; three sons, Norbert of Colby, Harold of Tripoli and Carl of West Allis; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Doraine) Werlinger of West Allis and Joyce Molsch of Shawano; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Carl Fischer of Colby; and one sister, Mrs. Lambert (Edna) VanRoy of West Allis.

She was predeceased by a son, five brothers and two sisters.
