Kelsh, Carroll E. (Retired - 1983)
Carroll E. Kelsh, Northwestern Bell manager-distribution services, Fargo, N.D.,
has retired following more than 35 years of service.
Kelsh is a native of Humbird, where he graduated from high school. He served in
the United States Army Signal Corps in Germany. Prior to joining Northwestern
Bell in 1949 as a lineman he held a similar position with AT&T. He held various
positions with Wahpeton and Kindred in North Dakota before coming to Fargo in
the engineering department in 1854.
He is a member of First Lutheran Church, The American Legion, the VFW, Shiloh
Masonic Lodge, Fargo Scottish Rite Bodies and El Zagal Shrine.
He and his wife, Joyce, reside in Fargo. They have five children.
