Hintz, Gust (18 Feb 1886 – 1 Apr 1976)

Services were held for Gust Hintz, age 90, of the Continental Manor Nursing Home in Abbotsford on Saturday, April 3, 1976.

The Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiated at the rites held at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Burial followed in the Abbotsford Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Royal Archambo, Harold Christensen, Jack Harrop, Ray Kiefer, Robert Hamilton and Morris Gierl.

Mrs. Mernajean Strathman was organist and Bernice Polzin soloist.

Mr. Hintz died Thursday, April 1 at the nursing home.

He was born February 18, 1886, in the Town of Holton, Marathon County.

He married the former Hattie Prange, who preceded him in death in 1944.

Mr. Hintz farmed in the Town of Holton until 1950, when he moved to Abbotsford.
