Dallman, Mr./Mrs. Carl (Gold – Apr 1976)
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dallman, Colby, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on
Sunday, April 11, 1976 at Zion Lutheran Church, with a noon dinner for about 50
relatives. Open house was held from 2 to 5, which many relatives and friends
attended.
They were married April 8, 1926 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Riplinger, with
the Reverend Eske officiating. The attendants were Allman’s sister, Mrs. Gerhart,
Wellman, Oshkosh, and Helmuth Kuester, Gresham. Both attendants attended this
event.
They farmed for many years near Cherokee, and retired in 1965, when they moved
to Colby.
They have one daughter, Mrs. Roy (Vivian) Martens, Marshfield.
They both are in good health and are members of Zion Lutheran Church, Colby.
Dallman enjoyed hunting and fishing, while Mrs. Dallman enjoys fancy work and
reading.
