Schwartz, Connie (Ross) (Potential Ms. Olympia - 1986)
A potential Ms. Olympia from Neillsville? You bet!!
After six months of vigorous training and dieting, Connie (Ross) Schwartz now
residing in Lakewood, Colorado, fits the bill.
Connie recently placed first in the women’s division, competing in the “Mile
High Body-Building Championships” in Denver, Colorado on May 17, 1986. Connie
captured second place overall against 13 other challengers.
Training at the Sports Club in Lakewood, where she is also an aerobics
instructor, Connie has worked hard to get into shape.
This is the just the beginning for Schwartz. In August she will compete in the
Ms. Colorado Contest and a National Competition in Texas.
Watch out America, Connie is “building up” to a great future in body-building.
Could she become the new Ms. Olym0ia? It will take a good deal more training and
dedication, but Connie says she has what it takes.
Schwartz, a 1979 graduate of Neillsville High School, is the daughter of Gene
and Greta Ross of Neillsville. She is married to Dean Schwartz of Lakewood,
Colorado.

students bring their own spending money.
The students will have an opportunity to develop[ greater fluency in speaking
English and to establish lasting American friendships. Frequently, American

homestay the following summer.
More homes are needed for 20 students, ages 13-18, who will arrive on July 2.
