Bischoff, Charles (15 Jul 1902 – 02 May 1976)
Charles Bischoff, 74, was found dead at his home in the Town of Holton Sunday
morning.
Marathon County Sheriff’s has ruled the death occurred Saturday and was due to
natural causes.
The funeral was held Tuesday, May 4, at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home at
Dorchester, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. James Schaefer, pastor of St. Louis Catholic
Church, Dorchester, officiated. Burial was held in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
Charles Bischoff was born July 15, 1902, in the Town of Holton, and farmed there
all his life. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bischoff. He attended the
Barry School.
He is survived by one brother, Lenhard Bischoff, Dorchester; and two sisters,
Mrs. William (Helen) Hackel, Colby, and Mrs. Clarence (Linda) Backhaus, Boyd.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
