Garbisch, Elsie Marie (28 May 1983)
Elaine Marie Garbisch and Stephen Blake Wallick, both of Lynnwood, Washington,
were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon, May 28, at Zion Evangelical
Lutheran Church in Granton. The Rev. Theodore Krueger II of Westfield performed
the ceremonies.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Garbisch of Granton. The groom’s
parents are Virginia Wigmore of Squantum, Mass., and David Wallick of Crofton,
Md.
Kris Pierce, a friend of the bride from Daly City, Calif., was the maid of
honor. The groom’s father was the bestman.
The bride chose an ivory Mademoiselle designer gown featuring sheer shoulders
and sleeves and Shiffley lace hem. The bodice was of Alencon lace and beads. She
wore a wide-brim hat of Alencon lace and beads and carried a cascade of blue
iris with white princess roses and ivy. Her attendant wore a floor-length gown
in light blue with a ribbon crepe, sheer long sleeves and belt at the waist. She
carried a bouquet of blue iris and white princess roses. The groom and his
attendant were attired in navy blue tuxedos.
Following the service, a dinner was held at the Wildcat Inn. An evening buffet,
reception and dance was held at the Sportsmen’s Club in Granton.
The couple announced that they would be taking a wedding trip to a lodge in the
Olympic Rain Forest in Washington. The new Mr. and Mrs. Wallick are making their
home in Lynnwood. She is a computer programmer-analyst, and he is a computer
system programmer-analyst.
