The Rev. Kenneth Dix officiated at the marriage of Patricia Ann Uerling and Willard Walter Meyers on April 24, 1976 at 7:30 p.m. at the First United Church of Christ, Colby.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Uerling, Route 2, Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Meyers, Jr., Route 1, Curtiss.

The bride wore a white lace gown with flowing A-line skirt. Sheer lace ruffles trimmed the neck and sleeves. She wore a seed pearl trimmed headpiece and carried red roses, white carnations and baby’s breath.

Attending the bride were Janet Uerling, Rose Uerling, and Jenny Uerling, all sisters of the bride.

Their lime green dotted Swiss gowns featured elasticized sleeve cuffs and set in midriff waist band. They wore white hats and carried a single long stemmed rose.

Completing the wedding party were Robert Meyers, Tom Uerling, and Keith Meyers, as groomsmen, and Erving Uerling and Ken Meyers as ushers.

A reception and cane followed at the VFW Hall in Colby.

Both the bride and bridegroom are 1971 graduates of Colby High School.
