Baughman, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest (Golden – 1983)

An open house for the golden wedding anniversary of Ernest and Pauline Baughman was held at the Neillsville Assembly of God on Sunday, June 5.

During a morning worship service with the Rev. Lloyd Hohn officiating, a double renewal, of wedding vows was shared by Ernest and Pauline Baughman, marking 50 years on June 1, and their son and daughter-in-law, John and Loretta Baughman, marking 25 years on September 25, participated.

Loretta and Dick Baughman and Alice Baughman Haag offered special music for the service. The open house was held in the church’s multi-purpose room from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Pauline’s sister, Caroline Boeckler, 93, of Sheldon was able to attend. She was Pauline’s original maid of honor.

Relatives came from the Wisconsin communite4s of Sheldon, Eau Claire, Medford, Oconto Falls and Fond du Lac; from the Minnesota cites of Minneapolis and Coon Rapids; and from California, Colorado and Tennessee.
