A dairy farm near Neillsville is the new home for Mr. and Mrs. Mark Meyer, who
were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon, June 18, by the Rev. Gary Clark
in nuptials at the Neillsville United Church of Christ.
Sharing vows were Lois Herod of Highland, California, the daughter of Cecil and
Mary Coronado, Ypsilanti, Michigan, and Mark A. Meyer, son of Lloyd and Jean
Mayer, Neillsville. Offering music for the church service was Elizabeth Bird,
the bride’s sister.
Mary Ann Johnson of Ypsilanti was the matron of honor. She was joined by Shannon
Seay of Highland, California. Bestman was Scott Meyer of Neillsville; he was
joined by Bob Ollech, also of Neillsville. The bride chose a floor length gown
with lace, high collar and long sleeves.
Following the service, a reception was held at the home of the bride and groom.
The new Mrs. Meyer attended schools in Ypsilanti and was employed as a film
inspector for the Defense Audiovisual Agency at Norton AFB, California. Heer
husband a graduate of Neillsville High School, attended Southern Illinois
University. He is now dairy farming.
