Dopp, Mark (Scholarships - 1983)
Marl Dopp, who is expected to earn his law degree from the University of
Missouri at Columbia in May of next year, recently learned that he had been
awarded a $5,000 scholarship by the Food and Drug Law Institute of Washington,
D.C.
Dopp, who is one of five in the nation to get the scholarship must now prepare a
publishable paper on a subject relevant to the field of food and drug law.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Arv Dopp, Neillsville, is a graduate of Neillsville High
School. He earned a BS degree in agriculture economics from UW-Madison and a MS
Degree in the same field from Michigan State. His master’s thesis was an
analysis of recent estate and inheritance tax legislation to agriculture.
Dopp is presently a final year student at the University of Missouri School of
Law.
His work during college included legal research for a law school professor,
serving as a law clerk for several firms and as a graduate research assistant.
