Allbaugh, Ruth A. (22 July 1890 - 14 November 1983)

NEILLSVILLE - Services for Mrs. George (Ruth A.) Allbaugh, 93, of the Memorial Home who died Monday at Memorial Hospital, will be Thursday at United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Howard Ott will officiate. Burial will be in the Neillsville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Gorbet, Bernard Kuhn, John Urban, David Krutsch, Albert Lincoln and John Reinart.

Visitation will be at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville.

The former Ruth A. Carter was born July 22, 1890 in Wadena, Minnesota, to the late Mr. and Mrs. James (Fannie Irish) Carter. She received her education at the Shortville School and Neillsville High School. She taught in rural schools for 16 1/2 years.

She was married to George Allbaugh March 28, 1917 in Shortville, Town of Washburn. They farmed in that area until April 1, 1968 when they moved to Neillsville. She was a resident of the Memorial Home sine April.

A member of the United Methodist Church, Mrs. Allbaugh is survived by a Foster daughter, Mrs. Donald (Lucille) Kalsow of Neillsville; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband on August 26, 1971 and three sisters, Ida, Clara and Ethel.
