ABBOTSFORD - The interior of the John and Grace residence northwest of
Abbotsford was destroyed by fire Tuesday night.
Abbotsford Fire Chief Bill Colby said the structure was still standing, but the
inside of the house was "a total Loss."
The fire was started at about 11 p.m. by hot grease.
Mrs. Nelson, who has a heart condition and asthma, was treated at St. Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield, when she experienced breathing difficulties. No other
injuries were reported.
Abbotsford firefighters were assisted by the Dorchester and Colby fire
departments. The Abbotsford crew was at the scene until 5:30 a.m.
