Members of the Dorchester Lion’s Club presented Mr. and Mrs. Vern Brecke, Stetsonville, with wrist watches in appreciation of their past years of service managing the Memorial Hall Bowling Alley at Dorchester. Brecke, chairman of the Taylor County Board, has accepted manager ship of the Farmers Union Appliance Store at Medford. Brecke started at Memorial Hall in 1965 and his wife, the former Betty Jari, started a short time later. During the evening the new managers of the hall, Dennis Taves and his wife, Trudy, of Spencer, were introduced to the large crown attending the appreciation nigh festivities, Thursday, May 6, 1976.
