GREENWOOD - More than 100 Greenwood American Legion and Auxiliary members and
their guests attended the Veterans Day dinner Saturday at the Greenwood Legion
Hall.
Commander Gerald Greisen, of the Wallis-Hinker Legion Post of Greenwood welcomed
those attending. Vern Rogstad, Osseo, was guest speaker. Rogstad is the state
vice chairman of the Legislative Committee, and former state vice chairman.
Honored guests introduced include Harlan and Dorothy Brux, gold star parents;
Harry Johnson, adjutant, and Edith Backus, Local Auxiliary president.
Gifts were brought for the veterans hospital in Tomah. Persons wishing to donate
items may bring them to Monday's meeting in the Legion Hall.
