Anderson, Elsie Helen Ida (Lipprandt) (12 DEC 1930 – 14 MAR 2023)
Elsie H. Anderson, 92, Marshfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at
Wells Nature View, 2711 South Apple Avenue, Marshfield.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Rembs
Funeral Home in Marshfield where visitation will be from 10:30 am until service
time. Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate.
The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes.
Burial will take place at a later date.
Elsie was born on her home farm in the Town of Green Grove, Clark County on
December 12, 1930 to Harry and Emma (Obschernings) Lipprandt. She attended
Beehive Grade School in Green Grove and graduated from Owen High School in 1948.
On July 30, 1949 she was united in marriage to Aaron F. Anderson. He passed away
on September 30, 1985.
Elsie worked as a bookkeeper and accountant for various firms before retiring
from Spencer State Bank. She enjoyed quilting, cross stitching, traveling in the
United States and abroad, and volunteering everywhere, including Ronald McDonald
House, LuCille Tack Center in Spencer, Senior Center in Marshfield, Trinity
Lutheran Church in Spencer, and Spencer community service.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Orin) Toltzman and their daughter Anne
(Matt) Soberg and their son Liam; son, Tim (Sue) Anderson and their daughters
Journey and Destiny Anderson.
She is further survived by her brother, Robert (Chris) Lipprandt; Allen’s life
partner, Maggie Diedrich and her daughter Darcy and her daughter Makaela.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Allen Anderson, brother Norbert
Lipprandt, and sister, Anita McKenna.
Memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staffs of Wells Nature
View and Promedica Hospice.
