Shirley Ann Sebold and Randel John Tesmer were united in marriage Saturday, June
5, 1976 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Francis Sebold, Dorchester, and Mr. and
Mrs. Bernard Tesmer, Colby.
Father James Schaefer performed the 1:30 p.m. marriage rites.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a white floor length gown of
crepe, with a chiffon overlay and lace bodice, sleeves and matching train.. Her
veil was attached to a Camelot headpiece. Mrs. Sebold made the gown worn by her
daughter. A white daisy bouquet completed the wedding ensemble.
Connie Sebold, Dorchester, was maid of honor. Cheryl Heindl, Stevens Point, Mary
Helfgert, Dorchester, and Sarah Tesmer, Colby, were bridesmaids.
Their orange floral print on beige gowns were princess style. They carried
yellow daisy bouquets.
William Tesmer was best man for the bridegroom. Mark Schjoneman, Colby, Greg
Gorke, Coly, and Joseph Sebold, Dorchester, were groomsmen.
Ushers were Charles Jantsch, Athens, and Mike Decker, Dorchester.
Sisters of the bride, Karen Meyer, Paula Blasel and Sara Sebold provided the
singing and organ arrangements during the service.
A reception was held at the Dorchester Memorial Hall.
The bride is a 1972 graduate of Colby High School, and is a nurse’s assistant at
Colonial House of Colby.
The bridegroom, a 1969 graduate of the same school, is a mechanic for Johnson’s
AMC in Colby.
