Church in Neillsville was the site for the exchange of vows. Parents of the
couple are Harold and Janice Mayer, 1407 Grand Ave., Neillsville, and Douglas
and Carolyn Larson, Rt. 2 Neillsville.
Music at the serviced was offered by Ronald Resong on the organ and Dawn Thoma
and Stacey Holt as vocalists.
Serving as matron of honor was Susan Schulz the bride’s sister of Greenwood. She
was joined by Carla Larsen and Linda Larsen, both sisters of the groom, and

Best man was John Chadwick, the groom’s cousin of Greenwood. He was joined by
friend Mark Toelle, the bride’s brother Mark Mayer and friends Tom Hagen and
Mike Toelle; all from Neillsville.
The bride chose a Chantilly lace gown featuring a high neckline, bishop sleeves,
Victorian bodice and yoke accented with soft ruffle and sweeping train. She also
wore a small, brimmed hat with veil and carried a bouquet of blue and white silk
roses accented with baby’s breath. Her attendants wore floor-length gowns of
lustra knit fabric in marigot blue and featuring cape sleeves, tiers of chiffon
accenting the bodice and matching jackets. They carried arm bouquets of flub and
white roses with baby’s breath. The groom was attired in a white tuxedo while
his attendants wore silver gray tuxedos.
Following the serviced, a reception was held at the Neillsville American Legion
Hall. The couple declined to announce their wedding trip plans.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Larsen will make their home in Groton, Connecticut. She is
a 1982 graduate of Neillsville High School and will graduate in May from Dist. I
