Kurth, Ardis F. (6 June 1907 – 8 January 1984)

Graveside services in Neillsville were held on Wednesday afternoon, January 11, for Ardis F. Kurth 76, who passed on Saturday, January 8, at a Westmont, Illinois, nursing home, where she had been a resident for some time.

The Rev. Gary Clark of the Neillsville United Church of Christ was to officiate with the Gesche Funeral Home making local arrangements

The deceased was born on June 6, 1907, in Nebraska to Enos and Lora (Huff) Shannon. On August 30, 1937, she married Douglas Kurth in Crown Point, Illinois ceremonies. She lived most of her life in the Chicago area.

Surviving her are two sisters, Mary Baker of Peoria, Illinois, and Edith Knight of Seal Beach, California. She was preceded in death by her husband on December 25, 1957, and who is buried in Neillsville; and several brothers and sisters.
