Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Atcherson, Route 1, Unity, escorted their daughter, Joyce
Marie Atcherson, in marriage to Lee Edward Erl, Neenah, on Saturday, June 12,
1976.
The parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Erl, Medford, were present to
give him in marriage to his bride.
The Rev. Keith Schroerlucke performed the 3:30 p.m. marriage rites at the United
Methodist Church, Colby.
Barbara Starr, friend of the bride, Hudson, was soloist and guitarist.
A long white empire styled gown accented with daisy lace and a chapel length
train was worn by the bride. Her fingertip length Juliet style veil featured
daisy appliqués. She carried a daisy and baby’s breath bouquet.
Mrs. Janise Oestreich, Eau Claire, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Her
halter fashioned gown was of blue, green and yellow hues. She wore a white
picture hat with blue netting and carried daisies tied with yellow ribbons.
Glenna Kloehn was flower girl and Thomas Rehbein was ring bearer.
Lawrence Redding, Neenah, was best man for the bridegroom.
Michael Oestreich, Eau Claire, ushered for the couple.
A reception was held at the Holiday Inn in Marshfield.
The bride graduated from Colby High School in 1970, and the University of
Wisconsin, Eau Claire in 1974. She is a sixth grade teacher in the Neillsville
school system.
A graduate of the 1969 class of Medford High School, the bridegroom is a sales
representative for Akrosal in Menasha.
