Neillsville Memorial Hospital (Employees Certification - 1984)
Two laboratory employees at Neillsville Memorial Hospital recently received
certification as medical laboratory technicians.
Receiving the honors were Susan Oman, a Clear Lake native who has been with
Memorial Hospital for 2 1/2 years and Amy Young, originally from Chippewa Falls,
who has worked at Memorial for 1 1/2 years.
Both Oman and Young took a test n Madison, conducted by the state’s health and
human services department. The exam, which gauges the proficiency of medical
technologists, equates to a four-year college degree. Only 30 percent of those
who take the test pass.
