The 30th wedding anniversary of Wallace and Jean Schultz was celebrated
Saturday, June 26, 1976, with a renewal of their marriage vows at Christ
Lutheran Church, Abbotsford.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Kenneth Loehrke.
Attendants were their children, the Rev. and Mrs. Ronald Schultz, Bradley
Schultz, Michael Schultz, Michael Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Schultz, and
Linda Schultz.
Flower girls were daughter, Lisa and granddaughter, Aimee Schultz, daughter of
the Rev. and Mrs. Schultz.
A solo “Because” was sung by Joan Schuette, and a duet “The Lord’s Prayer” was
sung by Linda Schultz and Joan Schuette, accompanied by Mary Jean Bell.
A special prayer was said by their son, the Rev. Schultz.
Ushers for the service were Jerome Zygowicz and Randy Schultz, Colby.
A reception was held after the ceremony at the VFW Hall in Colby.
Out of town friends and relatives attended from Michigan, Janesville, Eau
Claire, Menomonie, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wausau, Neillsville, Bayfield and
from the surrounding communities.
