THORP - "We lost 10 of our top 12 players, so we'll be very inexperienced,"
according to veteran Coach Jack Tetzner. "Lack of team speed and a proven scorer
will be a real handicap."
The only lettermen back from the team in 1982-83 are senior Mike Pabich and
junior Howie Horn. Horn ranked 76th in the News-Herald Century Club last year as
a sophomore.
Tetzner is expecting Horn to be a team leader this year, describing him as a
good shooter but only a fair rebounder.
On some of the others who are battling for starting berths, Tetzner has this to
say:
Mike Pabich - good jumper, but only fair shooter; Kent Schultz, Fastest player
on the squad; Kevin Brunett, excellent playmaker and penetrator; John Bieno,
good size and good rebounder; Scott Stryis, real hustler.
Other team members include Joel Anderson, Scott Strozk, Dave Pszeniczny, Joel
Stuttgen, Mike Piechacek.

Plachacek (Piechacek), Dan Sharp, Ken Kotecki, Ray Gutowski, Ray Jaskot and Fred
