Announcement is made of the engagement of Miss Diane Leaf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Leaf of Schofield, to Jeffrey N. Sheets, son of Mrs. Eugene Pipkorn, Route 2, Colby and John Sheets Sr., Curtiss. Eugene Pipkorn is his step-father. The bride graduated from D.C. Everest High School, Schofield, with a B.A. degree in elementary education at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and is a kindergarten teacher for Colby Public Schools. Her fiance, a Colby High School graduate, is enrolled in the police science program at North Central Technical Institute-Wausau and works at Webster;s United Foods, Abbotsford. The wedding date is September 22.
