LOYAL - The Clark County Holstein Breeder's Association 1983 Outstanding Breeder
Award went to Richard Eibergen at the group's recent awards banquet at the Loyal
American Legion Hall.
William Verkiulen, Thorp was named the outstanding junior boy, and Kimberly
Friske, Greenwood, outstanding junior girl. Jeff Meyer, Unity, was named
outstanding senior boy, and Beverly Howard, Granton, outstanding senior girl.
Other winners included Thomas Wilke, Loyal, bull calf, junior; Ann MArie
Zukowski, Thorp, bull calf, senior intermediate; James Brinker, Greenwood, bull
calf, senior; Beverly Howard, Granton, heifer calf, junior; Jay Seehauer, Thorp,
heifer calf, senior; James Brinker, grand champion bull; Ann Marie Zukowski,
reserve champion bull; Kathleen Glasshof, Thorp, heifer calf, senior; Scott
Bowe, Greenwood, heifer calf, junior yearling; Dennis Roehl, Loyal, 2-3 year
cow; Kathleen Glasshof, junior champion; Steve Selz, Loyal, 4 years and older
cow.
On the state level Scott Bowe and Bob Selz, juniors, and Steve Selz and Bobby
Glasshof, seniors, received certificates.
Directors elected to serve from 1984-86 were Dan Clark, Neillsville; Jerry
Geisking, Colby; Randy Meyer, Loyal; and Dawn Stump, Greenwood.
