Schultz, Harvey F. (21 November 1907- 26 January 1984)
Neillsville area native Harvey F. Schultz, 76, died in a DeKalb, Illinois,
hospital on January 26, after a brief illness.
The deceased was born on November 21, 1907, in Neillsville to Herman and Lottie
(Wiesner) Schultz. He received his education in local schools. On December 24,
1928, he married Clara Riphenberg in Neillsville ceremonies.
In 1941, the family moved to Hampshire, Illinois, where he was employed by the
Playskool Manufacturing Company as a lift truck operator. He was with that firm
for 20 years. He made his home in Hampshire.
Surviving him, besides his wife, is a daughter, Mrs. Lawanna Andrews, Kansas
City, Missouri; a son, Duane, Hampshire; a sister, Mrs. Walter (Emma) Sester,
Neillsville; and three brothers, Archie of Granton, Bertie of Neillsville and
Victor of Eau Claire. Joining them are eight grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren. He was preceded by a great grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, January 30, from the Gesche
Funeral Home in Neillsville with burial being made in the Neillsville City
Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Clark of the United Church of Christ officiated.
