Certificates of recognition are being sent to students who excelled academically
during the spring semester of the 1975-76 school year at the University of
Wisconsin, Stevens Point.
Dr. John B. Ellery, Vice Chancellor for academic affairs, announced that highest
honors designations is going to person who grade points range from 3.75 (B plus)
to 4.0 (Straight A); high honors for grade points from 3.5 to 3.74, and honors
for grade points from 3.2 to 3.49.
Area students receiving recognition are: Susa Beck, Ellen Brunker, Julie
Jacobson, Mary Langhus, Katherine Nomady, Rachel Bruger and Linda Krause, all of
Colby;
Teresa Heindl, Marie Jochimsen, and Wanda Underwood, all of Dorchester;
Carol Colby, Randal Paul, and Burt Schauer, all of Abbotsford,
