Beaver Township
Sunny Side School about 1910
This photo was glued to a page in Marian Robbins parent's photo album. She left it glued to the page and just cut around it. I think that is her mother's printing under the photo which says "S. S. at Beaver & Warner School". I decided to remove the photo from the page and it was a post card which they seemed to do a lot of in the "old days". There is a 1cent stamp on the postcard and the postmark date is Mar 8 1910. It is addressed to Mrs. C. A. Pickering, Sidney, Montana. It is from Wisconsin but I can't make out the town it was mailed from. It looks like "Greenwood, WIS.)
The writing on the message side that is visible is: "Do you know this crowd? It is our school house. Laroy is the big boy in front, with the light coat--hasn't he grown?" It is signed but the only visible letters are the end of the name "hel".
That is all we know..Marian must have been a baby when this card was written. It would be amazing if anyone can identify these folks! (or even the building!)
